It's happened to you more than once. You go to the bathroom, open a cabinet to find a
bottle of shampoo and you realize there are 5 different kinds staring at you--none of which
you really hoped to find. The hand towels, the bath towels and the wash cloths are all
intermingled and still don't fit into the shelf. If you would like to get a handle on its
contents, start with these steps:

  • Choose a drawer, a cabinet or a shelf and empty all its contents.

  • Gather all the shampoos, the soaps, the toothbrushes, etc. and get rid of stale,
outdated, half empty versions from each group.

  • Toss expired medications.

  • Use containers to hold your different categories of product.  It keeps things from
falling over and also helps you find them faster.  Cleaning out the area is also
    made much easier.

  • Match and refold the towels. Be honest--some may need to be demoted to rags.
Stack bathtowels together, hand towels together, etc.

  • Wipe down all the shelves, insides of the drawers before returning products to the
    areas.

This will give you a good start on clearing out your bathroom storage and provide a fresh,
clean area.  There are several other steps that can be taken to make your bathroom
pleasant and relaxing.  Call Sheri for an in-depth customized bathroom make-over.
